Day 8 Bangalore

Didn't do too much today, we had arranged to have a taxi driver, take us around to see all the places we missed... (he had driven us around the previous day, and seemed reasonable, and honest)... set rate was around 2700 rupees... which seems about the normal price, to higher a cab for a day.... he then changed his prices... wanted 6000 rupees ($120nzd for the day).... so we exited the cab....

Met some random guy that wanted me to take his picture.. not totally sure what was going on.. took his picture, and he gave use his email address to send it too... Raju told me off, saying I shouldn't say hello to everyone... but it is kinda hard.... EVERYONE just stares at me.... like they have never seen a European face before.... guy then started to follow us for a bit.. "pickpocket??" Who knows...

So it when from being a really busy day... to just one of visiting a few sites....

Hare Krishnan Temple, was pretty cool, security, is very tight.... metal detectors, getting padded down...I even had to wear a dress.... (could hire it there..) as I was wearing shorts), Bags/cameras were inspected, and locked away... this temple, was only 20 years old, pretty well designed... (sorry no photos)... inside, was gold plated shrines with the deities, altho I didn't see Ganesh anywhere, Raju did say, there is probably a little one somewhere, in theory, you need to pay your respects to Ganesh before any others...

Also, I noticed, the marking on the priests heads where up down.... not across, like other temples, I think this is something to do with them being hare Krishnan,
After sitting down for a bit, we made out way though a labyrinth, of stores, selling all kinda of things, then to get fed, a small meal, some veggie rice, on a plate made from dried leaves... then though some more stores, to finally making it back to the bag/shore collection area...

Next we went off to a park, (this one was a free one)... yes... it was a shock!!... it was pretty big and dry.... no rain yet... (altho that was soon to change)
Spend the afternoon watching I guess squirrels, asking Raju every now and again for the results of the Cricket...

Finally went back to our accommodation, to have a shower... and wait to catch our flights back to Hyderabad.
