Day 19 Aurangabad (water wheel, caves, little taj, silk factory)

Today, well was a bit on the slow side, not too much touristy stuff to see anymore... I have 1 more day in aurangabad... visited the waterwell of aurangabad, this pumps water from the mountains, and is about 600 years old, the pools of water.... honestly looked very slimy....and a ideal home for mosquitos, after that visited the aurangabad caves, these were a little quieter than Ellora/Ajanta... only met an American couple...  Cave wise, these were just a little different, Buddha, had company....with, what appeared to be followers on either side, also, one cave had Ganesh, with Buddha on the side... a few caves were unfinished.

After that it was to Bibi-ka-maqbara or the little Taj.... impressive, altho a little run down... it was built a few years after the big Taj was build.... hopefully the thumbs of the workers were safe with this one!!...

Lastly, it was to a silk factory, the equipment used here was a 1920's vintage, made in Japan! And it still works... it was lunch time when I arrived.... it was pretty interesting... ended up spending 2200 on a silk stole ($50) on my visa card tho... hope you like it mum!!

Tomorrow... I don't have too much to do.... so it will be shopping... at a shopping mall with "FIXED" prices... I need to get a few things sorted before the tour!... attempt to top up my phone/tablet SIM's, purchase another SD Card for my camera... used up 24 gig's so far.. who knows!
