Got to this nice hotel, probably the BEST so far all tour, started off with a nice king size bed... with a single for "J" we put a small complain in about the mosquitos (after killing 40-50+) in a rampage.... (some full with there previous victim blood) only to be moved to another room... with 2 single beds! UGH!... still... beds were soft! And we had 2 soft pillows each.... heaven.... aircon was set to 18 degrees.... and we had a POOL....
Headed off to the bird sanctuary down the road.... little expensive to get in...500 rupees to get in... 25 rupees for the bikes... (like 100 year old vintage bike)
Got a guide... 150 rupee an hour....($3nzd per hour) crazy.. most of the time guides are useless... and pretty pushy.... this guy wasn't... so yeah! Let's take 'em!
We headed off.... the bikes were pretty bad!! Not designed for people with longer legs!! Or. I guess anyone over 5'0" knees were smashing the handle bars... did work out a one knee in and one out worked.... butt was really sore!
Our guy... OMG.... his eyesight.... and talent for spotting birds was unreal....say 700 metres away... small dot... he could identify the type... his email, if anyone wants.... is knpsunil at gmail.com (just hope he doesn't get spam harvested with this) really nice guy.... also can do tiger spotting!
