Kinda losing track of what day it is now, we finally arrived in hampi, after our overnight rail journey, plus a ride in a car for atleast an hour or so, we arrived at a small resort, with little huts next to the river, a walk, say 1km down the dirt path, was the river crossing, where the locals would ferry people across for 10 rupee... temples could be seen in the distance, Hampi itself seems to be an immense area of boulders, some HUGE, sometimes defying gravity, as they were stacked on to each other... we only had a couple of days here..... the weather was seriously hot guessing 38+ the boys Jay and Sam did a bit of rock climbing.... I tried to tag along.... but frock that... I didn't want to be cut to ribbons by the thorny bushes....
Temples them severs were pretty average.... but if you imagine back to what is was like 500 years ago... it must have been pretty amazing with the streets of traders etc... all and all I wish we could have spend a lot more time in Hampi...1 week +... so much to do... and explore.... was just a shame with the crazy heat.
Visited the monkey temple, was ment to be 1300 steps but in reality it was about 650, still amazing views.... I will post some pictures a little later with a few monkeys on my back...
Also note, a very rare site in India.... yes... cows eating GRASS.... WTF.... they need a bit more plastic in there diet...
