Arrived at Cochin, after a public bus ride... yep! No Windows for a a couple of hours.... was fun..Cochin itself, well the bits we visited were very unlike the rest of India... heavy Portuguese/Dutch influence, buildings tending to be preserved... it was pretty nice.... I knee was still frocked... I did my best to hobble about, I met a couple of young punks, who were pretty keen on chatting, as it was a general strike day the second day were were there.... one was a plumber (trainee) earns about $160nzd per month, watched the police bust some people smoking drugs on the beach, not sure if they were locals or tourists... about 10 people caught...
Probably the only exciting bits about Cochin, was the street art, and the historic part of the buildings.... with the general strike on... no shops were open.... did visit a museum and was charged 5 rupee!! Local rates!! It actually was really good! Sorry no pictures.... as they were not allowed... well worth a visit tho....
Sorry about the lack of photos.... with my knee gone.... I really haven't been to snap happy....
Hit a new record! 5 people on a scooter!
